Can Horses Eat Parsnips?


Yes, horses can eat parsnips! Parsnips are similar to carrots in that they make excellent treats for horses. In fact some horses that love carrots may not like parsnips and vice versa, it’s best to test with your horse to figure out what will be best for them.

No special preparation is needed to feed a horse parsnips other than to make sure that they are properly cleaned and free of any dirt or mold before feeding them.
